Photos from 1977 Silver Jubilee
We were excited about the forthcoming street parties (with Pimms and coronation chicken on the menu!), waving our flags and hanging-up the bunting.
They remembered Queen Elizabeth II through her rein of England, from a young lady to the current day. In reflection we decided that she should be included on our mosaic benches - but in a symbolic way Mainly because we were not sure about the etiquette of sitting on a portrait of the queen!
